Background and Coaching Experience

Personal Philosophy: Most motivated by realising potential for individuals and teams - with integrity (wholeness), everything belongs – context and desired outcome are key. ‘Busyness is an all-round killer!’ Grow the common ground and celebrate our differences.

Philip initially joined HSBC and worked in the London, Paris and Singapore offices. On returning to London, he moved into the commercial property services working with leading London Property Asset Managers, national Blue-Chip companies within the retail, financial, commercial, Higher Education and public sectors at local and national levels. He has 10 years’ experience coaching in professional with technical experts in transition who are now responsible for growing the business, its capacity and capability. He works face-to-face and virtually in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Seeing beyond the ‘now’ to the potential in people, teams and organisations signifies the essence of his approach. This involves coming alongside Senior Professionals and their teams to help develop sustained internal capability and strategic thinking. Life is rarely black and white - more shades of grey - and the ability to think with clarity through the grey and harness the best of ourselves and others is central to achieving success.

The level of self-awareness and awareness of what motivates others in an organisations can be measured by the quality of their internal and external relationships working on these in context often lies at the heart of generating effective behavioural.

Philip has developed a diverse client base in UK and overseas – commercial and not for profit/adding value. He is a mentor and coach to a number of talented artists and coaches young people starting out as well as more mature clients needing career review and preparation for interview. He is an authorised Mentor and Coach in the Church of England, Diocese of Canterbury.
